This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Matthew Bloom, who was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 14, 1976 and passed away on May 23, 2005 at the age of 28 in an auto accident. He touched so many lives during his short life and we will miss, love and remember him forever.

My beautiful boy we miss you so
Why, oh why, did you have to go?....
So much to offer....all taken away
Lives changed forever on a rainy day....

I speak your name with a smile and a tear
And feel your presence always near....
I've talked to butterflies passing by
And sent balloons up to the sky....

The caregiver of memories, old and new
My purpose now is to honor you....
In ways that may seem strange to some
Only understood by a grieving Mom....

I hope and pray we meet again
And I'll see those eyes so blue....
Until that time, my beautiful boy
I'll always be missing you....
